About the role
- The Pump Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and overhauling power generations pumps within nuclear power facilities.
- ONSITE ROLE: This position is based on site at the Lark facility in Mount Holly, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Perform precision measurements of shafts, sleeves, wear rings, and bearing fits to verify tolerances and component condition.
- Maintain strict Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) practices.

Requirements
- Experience / Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of pump hydraulics, pump curves, and rotating equipment performance principles.
- Experience with disassembly/inspection/repair of rotating equipment including vertical, horizontal, multistage pumps, fans, compressors, etc.

Compensation
- Estimated Starting Salary Range The estimated starting pay rate for this role is approximately $35.00 -$41.00 hourly less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis.
- The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company's discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
