About the role

Responsibilities
- TechOp Solutions is seeking a Software Developer / Software Engineer to support the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Facilities and Asset Management (OFAM) Mission and Program Management Office (MAPMO).
- This role supports application development, automation, data modernization, and enterprise system sustainment for systems used by tens of thousands of users annually.
- The selected candidate will help design, build, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain digital applications and automation workflows in a federal environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a closely related technical field
- Hands-on software development, application development, automation development, or data-driven application experience
- Experience with at least one programming language or development framework such as Java, C#, Python,.NET, JavaScript, or similar
- Ability to understand application logic, troubleshoot technical issues, and explain technical solutions clearly
- Experience working with databases, SQL, data sources, reporting tools, APIs, automation workflows, or data transformation processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform is preferred; however, candidates with strong computer science fundamentals and hands-on development experience in Java, C#, Python,.NET, JavaScript, or similar technologies may be considered.
Nice to have
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance preferred
Skills
- Solutions will be delivered using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Fx, SQL, and related Microsoft technologies.
Compensation
- $90k-$100k
