Develop procedures to control the effective utilization of electrical, instrument & Programable Logic Controller (PLC) systems.
Install and maintain electrical, instrument and PLC systems including up to Motor Control Center (MCC) units.
Provide technical support for all users.
Provide after hour "On-call" support for plant on emergency basis.
Participate in new & existing process development support and Safety Hazard Reviews
Drives failure analysis of instrument & electrical equipment and implements reliability improvement action items.
Develops instrument maintenance and reliability skills throughout the maintenance organization.
Implements Best Practices for maintenance of control and distribution equipment.
Drives the maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with reliability requirements.
Locates and corrects problems (troubleshoots) to restore equipment to operation and design specifications.

Must be able to work both day AND night shift.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work over regular hours.
and a minimum of three years of experience in the area
Associate degree (AD) in Electronics, Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent form two-year college or technical school
Performs breakdown repairs whenever required

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Basic knowledge of oral/written skills in English and Spanish.
Interacts with Area management, Resources, Operations Technicians, Contractors, Engineers and Suppliers.
Ability to apply concepts such as factions, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to represent data in graphic arts.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule forms.
In addition to the skills listed above, computer skills and well as a PLC and DCS knowledge are desirable.
Able to work in teams and to continuously improve day to day activities.
