- Field Service Engineer Level I Responsibilities and Qualifications: Responsibilities: Provide moderate-level onsite troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and emergency maintenance of Omnicell's electro-mechanical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Learn pharmacy and nursing workflows and understand how medication management systems significantly drive efficiency and reduce wasteful spending.
- Thoroughly document all service events according to Omnicell's policies and procedures.
- Escalate product bugs, malfunctions, and design issues through support channels.
- Maintain service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Manage parts inventory and return materials process.
Requirements
- Experience working in a hospital environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. to approximately 5 ft. high.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology or related discipline and experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic, mechanical, or computer devices.
- Field Service Engineer Level II Responsibilities and
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology or a related discipline AND one year of relevant experience
- OR Associate's Degree/Trade School Certification/Military Training in an Engineering/Technology related discipline, AND four years of relevant experience
- OR seven years equivalent experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic, mechanical, or computer devices.
- Meet company guidelines for response time and service levels.
- Participate in various staff meetings.
- Work Conditions for both Levels: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. to approximately 5 ft. high.
