  • Field Service Engineer Level I Responsibilities and Qualifications: Responsibilities: Provide moderate-level onsite troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and emergency maintenance of Omnicell's electro-mechanical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Learn pharmacy and nursing workflows and understand how medication management systems significantly drive efficiency and reduce wasteful spending.
  • Thoroughly document all service events according to Omnicell's policies and procedures.
  • Escalate product bugs, malfunctions, and design issues through support channels.
  • Maintain service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage parts inventory and return materials process.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a hospital environment.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. to approximately 5 ft. high.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology or related discipline and experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic, mechanical, or computer devices.
  • Field Service Engineer Level II Responsibilities and
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology or a related discipline AND one year of relevant experience
  • OR Associate's Degree/Trade School Certification/Military Training in an Engineering/Technology related discipline, AND four years of relevant experience
  • OR seven years equivalent experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic, mechanical, or computer devices.
  • Meet company guidelines for response time and service levels.
  • Participate in various staff meetings.
  • Work Conditions for both Levels: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. to approximately 5 ft. high.
