- The work requires skill in preparing staff reports/briefings and skill in organizing and delivering briefings to managers to encourage understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations.
Requirements
- Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-11, or equivalent in other pay systems.
- Knowledge is applied when assessing programs/projects, analyzing findings and making recommendations on substantive operating programs.
- Extensive knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing and measuring effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of administrative and technical programs
- One year at the GS-11 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 level.
- TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
Skills
- Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Air Force rated officer and operations center experience required.
- Weapons School, Checkmate, and/or Contingency Warfare planner experience desired.
