DESCRIPTION: Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Quality Microbiology Laboratory Technician, where you'll help make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.
This role involves execution of standardized test procedures, maintaining detailed documentation, and supporting investigations and quality assurance efforts.

Perform routing and specialized testing of raw materials, incoming goods, intermediates, and/or finished products in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP), work instructions, and quality control plans.
Maintain adequate inventory of laboratory consumables to support uninterrupted testing operations.
Assist in the management of non-conforming materials and support investigations into out-of-specification (OOS) results.
Maintain a well-organized and detailed laboratory notebook documenting all work performed, observations, analytical results.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free laboratory environment.

Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.

and Benefits The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Connecticut is $25.60-$38.39.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
