About the role
- Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a Sr.
- Acquisition Program Analyst (APA) for the STAQSS II Contract supporting the Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition (SAF/AQ).
- AQI serves as the focal point within the HAF for information dominance matters associated with integrated product life cycle management and facilitates information dominance stakeholder collaboration in addressing program lifecycle issues.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining historical Air Force weapon program documentation and developing summary documents/briefings and training material
Requirements
- Master's degree in a Business, Finance, or Engineering discipline.
- A total of 10 years of acquisition experience in a System Program Office and/or Air Force Headquarters.
- Experience with DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, including development of budget documentation and familiarity with analyzing budget execution.
- Must be proficient in all computer-based communication/office IT tools, to include the following: Microsoft (MS) Office Suite - Word, Power Point, SharePoint, Excel, TEAMS
- Must have the ability to learn new software/office IT tools as needed in a timely manner.
- Must be proficient in public speaking: capable of delivering briefs, speaking in meetings in person and online, and giving presentations.
- Ability to move or traverse throughout a large, secure facility and between multiple work areas
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer
- Identifying and researching programmatic issues and tradeoffs in terms of required capabilities, costs, and schedules.
Nice to have
- 12 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a MA/MS degree.
- BA/BS degree plus 8 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a MA/MS degree.
