About the role

This a hybrid role is based in our San Jose office.

You will be a Product Test Engineer in Silicon Operations focusing on leading the design, development, and testing of Cisco's cutting-edge Silicon One ASICs.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality ASICs that meet customer needs.
You will work with Tier-1 OSATs to manage high volume manufacturing test and quality issues.
Your role will also be to drive component failure analysis, containments, and root cause corrective actions.
You will collaborate with ASIC design teams in the Central Hardware Group, peer Test/Product Engineers in Silicon Operations and with Cisco Systems NPI teams.
You will also work with Cisco's manufacturing partners to triage any failures and manage the OSAT production test activities.

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience) 9+ years' experience in SOC/VLSI/ bring-up, characterization, qualification and product engineering.
Excellent working knowledge of Advantest 93000 tester (Smartest 7 and 8) for characterization and production testing.

Experience with yield improvement and test time reduction activities.
Strong teamwork & collaboration skills.
Excellent problem solving & effective conflict resolution skills.
An effective multi-functional communicator with strong interpersonal skills and has multi-functional leadership to get results and change across organizations up to the executive level.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan.

$148,800.00 - $248,200.00 * For quota-based sales roles on Cisco's sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined. ** Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, will participate in a unique time off program to meet local requirements.
