Responsibilities

  • You will be a Product Test Engineer in Silicon Operations focusing on leading the design, development, and testing of Cisco's cutting-edge Silicon One ASICs.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality ASICs that meet customer needs.
  • You will work with Tier-1 OSATs to manage high volume manufacturing test and quality issues.
  • Your role will also be to drive component failure analysis, containments, and root cause corrective actions.
  • You will collaborate with ASIC design teams in the Central Hardware Group, peer Test/Product Engineers in Silicon Operations and with Cisco Systems NPI teams.
  • You will also work with Cisco's manufacturing partners to triage any failures and manage the OSAT production test activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience) 9+ years' experience in SOC/VLSI/ bring-up, characterization, qualification and product engineering.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Advantest 93000 tester (Smartest 7 and 8) for characterization and production testing.

Compensation

  • Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan.
