Responsibilities
- Working knowledge of building envelope science, including waterproofing, flashing details, and system integration
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in roofing, service, or building envelope construction
Skills
- Strong knowledge of flat roofing systems (SBS, TPO, EPDM, BUR), shingles, and metal roofing
- Experience coordinating labour, materials, and scheduling, along with strong site inspection and report writing skills
- Takes ownership of quality outcomes by identifying issues early and driving practical, effective solutions
- Stays organized and disciplined in documentation, reporting, and tracking of inspection activity
- Approaches challenges with a proactive, analytical mindset focused on continuous improvement
- Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyze field conditions, identify root causes of failures or performance issues, and recommend corrective action
- Prepare clear, consultant level reports documenting findings, conclusions, and recommended solutions
- Act as the key liaison between clients and the company on warranty reviews, disputes, and technical discussions
- Identify recurring quality issues and execution gaps, and provide structured feedback to Roofing Production Management
