About the role

- Our team is looking for a F acilities Technician to join them.
- You will report to the Facilities Supervisor and will have an onsite work schedule in Creedmoor, NC.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Facility Supervisor to provide an efficient, responsive, cost-effective facilities support service.
- Plan, design and perform construction projects, where delegated by Facilities Manager.
- Perform routine and scheduled maintenance of property including but not limited to: Painting, Grounds/car park maintenance (gritting, rubbish clearing, safety, General site maintenance.
- Perform routine and scheduled maintenance programs of equipment including but not limited to (where appropriate additional training/support will be given) Technical performance of equipment in the facility Servicing.
- Attend site on call out duties when if/requested by facilities manager which may also require you to support a call out team rotor.
- Support Potential licensor customer visits to review (but not limited to) the following facility requirements...
- Understanding and work experience of pneumatics, electricity, heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) and building management systems. (Maintenance Connection (very desirable)
Requirements
- Experience in a similar facilities role essential.
- Experience is a similar construction industry role is essential.
- General maintenance experience in drywall.
- C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee.
Skills
- Experience in directing and planning essential services such as maintenance, plant servicing, waste disposal, recycling, security.
- Understanding and work experience of manufacturing/engineering (desirable)
- Demonstrates a good awareness of Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Able to plan and prioritize work, but also respond to business priorities as they occur.
- Able to use MS office applications i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Able to evidence written and verbal communication skills - including negotiations and facilitating skills.
- The ability to work unsupervised to time scales and under pressure.
