About the role
- Work Schedule: Weekend/Weekday, 2 to 3 days a week for 2-3 hours a day Essential functions: The Registered Dietitian shall provide clinical nutrition services to the inpatient population according to facility policies and procedures.
- The Dietitian is responsible and accountable to the Director of Dietary Services, medical staff, and administration staff for the provision of dietary services.
- The Dietician may consult with physicians and other health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and dietary restrictions.
Responsibilities
- To support the Director of Dietary in maintaining essential patient services on an as needed basis.
- In the absence of the Director, patient services provided may include direction and delivery of quality food and nutrition services under appropriate clinical supervision to patients to support the organization's delivery of appropriate patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Registered Dietitian (RD) Current credential with the Commission of Dietetic Registration
Compensation
- The Registered Dietician will assess and document professional and technical competencies for other dieticians as part of the annual competency assessment. *Pay
