Responsibilities
- Lead month-end variance analysis for corporate business units, providing insights on financial performance, and key underlying drivers, changes against the plan, and upcoming opportunities and risks.
- Provide peer support, guidance, and development opportunities to team members
- The Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate plays an essential role in growing talent in our business through collaboration and sharing best practices with the FP&A team and our business partners.

- As the Senior Financial Analyst for our corporate department, you will understand business operations, develop tools, metrics, and processes in order to provide information that drives action and improvements.
- This opportunity plays a key role in strengthening business partnership within corporate by working closely with the Finance Business Partner and our Lush Leadership team.
- You are a listener with a structured approach to planning, but are also excited to drive discussion that leads to action.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive financial planning and analysis experience within a fast paced business environment
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Business Data Analytics, or similar
- Strong analytical, modeling, and presentation skills, and in depth knowledge of financial statements and the drivers that impact them
- Ability to distill and summarize large and complex data sets and present clearly without losing sight of the big picture
- Flexibility, dedication and ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure to meet deadlines
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team player that can drive discussion, but always open to hearing different views
- Highly proficient with MS Excel, including pivot tables and complex logic-based formulas
- Collaborative, proactive and inclusive approach to business support
- Excitement and a commitment to learn, understand and relate to Lush's core brand values
Nice to have
- MBA, CFA or CPA is an asset
- Experience in high volume, vertically integrated retail, digital, and manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or Adaptive (Workday) considered an asset
- Experience working with Microsoft BI Tools like Power BI
Compensation
- $95,000 - $108,000 CAD
- Lead monthly financial reforecasting and annual budgeting processes, including the development, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of forecasting models to ensure accurate financial plans
