About the role
- Aspire Academy is seeking motivated and student-centered educators to join our team as Professional School Staff.
- Aspire Academy is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience or interest in special education, alternative education, or individualized learning models.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct instruction and support in core academic subjects
- Deliver short lessons and assist with student comprehension
- Provide one-on-one tutoring and academic support
- Support students working through ACE faith informed (PACEs) curriculum
- Maintain a structured, safe, and supportive classroom environment
- Collaborate with school and residential staff
- Create Lesson Plans
Requirements
- Knowledge of IEPs, 504 Plans, or differentiated instruction
- Knowledge of STEM, Language Arts, Math, Art, Music, History, Civics,
- Ability to teach and explain academic content clearly
- Peyton, CO 80831 (Required)
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field (preferred)
- Experience working with students with learning differences
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to have
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
- Teaching: 3 years (Preferred)
- Spanish (Preferred)
Compensation
- $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
