About the role

  • The team works closely with the electrical and RF groups to guide PCBA layouts to ensure reliability and survivability.
  • It is the ultimate responsibility of the mechanical avionics group to ensure the enclosure level system survives the mission duration and environments.

Responsibilities

  • The avionics team within the mechanical engineering group is responsible for the design, development, and production of electronic enclosures and components.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of new hardware products development experience.
  • 7+ years of engineering team management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in engineering team management.
  • Experience in new hardware product development.
  • Experience in DFx (cost, test, manufacturing).
  • Experience with the project management of technical projects

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Power Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of AWS or cloud technologies.
