About the role

We're looking for an Associate Manager, Category Leadership - Albertsons to champion our categories.
You'll leverage macro trends, proprietary research, and industry insights to shape category strategies that win with both the retailer and the shopper.

Supports and guides Albertsons in their go-to-market strategies that incorporate shopper insights and market trends
Supports and provides recommendations to the Sales Team on the category landscape and how that affects SCJ products and position

Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S without need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment
Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years relevant experience OR advanced degree and 3+ years relevant experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required for building internal and external relationships and working on a high-performance team

Full knowledge and understanding of the category management process
Skilled in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Complete understanding of syndicated scan and panel data
Complete understanding and familiarity of retailer point of sale data
Strong presentation skills
Ability to bring a story out of large amounts of data that is impactful to the retailer
