- Our FP&A team plays a critical role in driving financial strategy, supporting decision-making, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our business across subscriptions, advertising, and emerging revenue streams.
Responsibilities

- Maintain and improve driver-based financial models to support revenue and cost planning
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting
- Prior people management experience required (3+ years)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Demonstrated track record of owning planning processes and influencing business decisions
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
- Experience with FP&A systems (e.g., Oracle Hyperion, Planful) and data tools (e.g. Tableau)
Nice to have
- 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting
- Prior people management experience (5+ years)
- Experience at a Fortune 500 company and/or digital media organization strongly preferred
- MBA, CFA, or CPA
- SQL/BI tools a plus

Compensation
- $130,300 - $242,100 Annual
- The actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
- This position may be eligible for a bonus or incentive program, and a member of the Talent Acquisition team will discuss bonus payment terms and conditions during the interview process.

- Lead consolidation effort around monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, speed, and transparency
- Identify risks and opportunities, proactively updating forecasts and communicating implications, in collaboration with other FP&A leaders
- Partner with leaders across editorial, product, advertising, and subscription teams to inform decision-making around our content strategy in News and Opinions
- Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights that shape business strategy
- Challenge assumptions and elevate thinking to improve resource allocation and ROI
- Oversee management reporting, variance analysis, and KPI tracking
- Deliver concise, executive-ready materials for senior leadership
