About the role

  • Role: Java Backend Payment Merchant Location: NYC, NY - Onsite Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Java Backend Development.
  • Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Strong experience with Redis and Memcache.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Expertise in REST APIs, API Gateway, and backend integrations.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and cloud deployment strategies.
  • Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or Datadog.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm).
  • Knowledge of service mesh technologies like Istio.
  • Experience with security best practices, OAuth2, JWT, and authentication frameworks.
  • Exposure to high-availability and distributed systems architecture.
