About the role

  • The ideal candidate possesses:
  • Knowledge of Community Engagement/Organizing principles
  • Understanding of the crisis management process.
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills as well as oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Project Management: ability to show initiative, prioritize and realize multiple assignments
  • disability access and functional needs/vulnerable populations.
  • Experience in program planning and evaluation (mixed methods).
  • Familiarity with SharePort, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Canva is a plus.
  • Additional skills significant to this role:
  • Understanding of the life cycle of disasters, community resilience, emergency preparedness, response, and recovery.
