About the role

Skills
- The ideal candidate possesses:
- Knowledge of Community Engagement/Organizing principles
- Understanding of the crisis management process.
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills as well as oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Project Management: ability to show initiative, prioritize and realize multiple assignments
- disability access and functional needs/vulnerable populations.
- Experience in program planning and evaluation (mixed methods).
- Familiarity with SharePort, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Canva is a plus.
- Additional skills significant to this role:
- Understanding of the life cycle of disasters, community resilience, emergency preparedness, response, and recovery.
