About the role

  • The Allman Institute is a translational research organization applying personalized medicine to treat severe and historically difficult-to-treat diseases, beginning with pulmonary fibrosis and chronic lung transplant dysfunction.

Responsibilities

  • We pursue an ambitious and pragmatic, modality-agnostic therapeutic strategy spanning genetic medicines, molecular and pharmacologic therapies, cell and immune-based interventions, and engineered biological systems, in close collaboration with leading academic and biotech partners across the U.S. and abroad.
  • This role works closely with clinical leaders, researchers, operations teams, and external partners to ensure programs are managed effectively, with a measurable impact on internal and partnered clinical research programs.

Requirements

  • Experience managing complex programs
  • Experience with clinical trials or translational research
  • Bachelor's degree in health sciences, public health, nursing, healthcare administration, or a related field (Master's a plus)
  • 3-5 years of experience in program management within healthcare, clinical research, or medical settings
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, clinical workflows, or medical research environments
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Possess training and a clear understanding of best practices in medical ethics
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, IRB processes, GCP, FDA or equivalent regulations)
  • Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs), clinical database

Nice to have

  • Background in patient-centered care initiatives a plus
  • Certification in project or program management (e.g., PMP, PgMP) a plus

Compensation

  • $40k-$50k
