About the role

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hospital leadership on performance, feedback, recognition, and big-picture planning
  • Help design and maintain hospital flow to reflect the VEG Spikes, our unique, customer-centered way of doing things-like ensuring people see a doctor right away and allowing families to stay with their pets
  • Jump in to address customer concerns in real-time and partner with leadership for lasting solutions
  • Lead team huddles and meetings to keep everyone aligned and inspired
  • Collaborate across the leadership team to ensure smooth, efficient hospital operations
  • A focus on developing leadership skills
  • Ability to stand for prolonged hours, kneel, and work on the floor as well as ability to lift up to 25 kg on own and able to support up to 40 kg with assistance

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a clinical veterinary nursing or technician role
  • Must be willing to work in a noisy environment with strong or unpleasant odors
