About the role
- The Cardiothoracic Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a member of the medical care team whose primary responsibility is the management of complex and independent patient evaluation and management functions.
- The Cardiothoracic APP shall provide patient care commensurate with their level of advancement, competence and privileges, under the supervision of appropriately credentialed attending.

Requirements
- PA - Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program, minimum Bachelor's degree required NP -
- Demonstrates ongoing improvement/proficiency in bedside invasive and noninvasive procedures and maintains patient procedure logs.
Skills
- The Cardiothoracic APPs require excellent interpersonal and communication skills integral to the success of a Cardiothoracic APP.
- Assess family coping skills and the need for crisis or other interventions.
Compensation
- DEA registration required for those with discharge Posted Salary Range USD $69.54 - USD $93.00 /Hr.
