About the role

  • The AppSec Sales Engineer is the technical liaison who bridges sales and engineering, expertly articulating the technology and product positioning of our AI-Native DevSecOps platform to executive, business, and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Drive complex technical engagements, such as workshops and POVs, to prove Harness's value in securing the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) from code to operation, including API and AI workflows.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with modern application security practices and tools (e.g., API Security, AI Security, SAST, DAST, SCA, or other similar technologies).

Skills

  • Connect business security risks and compliance problems to technical solutions within the end-to-end DevSecOps pipeline.
