About the role

Responsible for performing welding tasks to fabricate and repair metal structures and components.
Work with various materials, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, using different welding techniques and equipment.
Ensure T.D. Williamson (TDW) products meet the highest standards of quality and durability.

Perform MIG, TIG, flux core, sub arc and/or carbon arc welding on metal components and assemblies according to blueprints, specifications, and safety standards.
Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools, including setting up machines, changing electrodes, and ensuring proper functioning.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

conduct tests to ensure welds meet required standards.
Working knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to endure prolonged periods of standing, as well as the ability to work in various positions such as kneeling, crouching, bending, stooping, squatting or lying down to access different parts of the project.

Excellent vision (or corrected vision), including depth perception and color recognition, for reading blueprints, monitoring welds, and identifying any flaws or imperfections.
MIG, TIG, flux core, sub arc and carbon arc welding experience or any combination of education and experience.
