About the role

  • The Project Surveyor leads and manages land surveying projects while providing guidance and support to Land Survey staff. This position is ideal for newly licensed surveyors looking to develop their expertise and grow in the profession.
  • - Supervise, coordinate, and review activities and deliverables of field and office staff assigned to land surveying projects.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with engineering staff and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Manage and schedule individual projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Perform quality control reviews of drawings and legal descriptions prepared by others.

Requirements

  • 0-4 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Surveyor.
  • Experience with ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, topographic surveys for design, and construction staking.
  • Dependable and reliable with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with overtime as needed.
  • Ability to work Monday
  • Perform calculations and prepare field packages as required.
  • Licensed as a Professional Surveyor in the state of employment.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage project budgets and invoicing.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of employees and clients.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
