About the role

  • This role sits at the intersection of Product Analytics, Decision Science, and Product Strategy.
  • For Capital to succeed, many of our most important product and business decisions depend on balancing complex trade-offs across pricing, conversion, offer volume, losses, and profitability.
  • In many ways, data-driven decision making is the product itself.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to influence product strategy through deep analytical insights and decision frameworks
  • Lead ambiguous and high-impact analytical initiatives end-to-end, from problem definition through recommendation and implementation
  • Build analytical models and frameworks that optimize trade-offs across risk, pricing, conversion, profitability, and customer outcomes
  • Design and evaluate experiments, including pricing and conversion optimization initiatives
  • Deliver executive-level recommendations and influence roadmap decisions using data
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, and GTM teams to operationalize data-informed decisions
  • Building analytical frameworks that drive business and product decisions
  • What problems we should solve, and the right way to design and implement solutions

Requirements

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence Product and Engineering teams
  • Experience working within product organizations at technology or fintech companies
  • You likely have experience with:

Nice to have

  • Experience in fintech, lending, payments, or risk-related domains
  • Experience in Data Science, predictive modeling, or optimization problems
