Responsibilities

  • Controls Systems Support: Partner with Engineering to develop standards, specifications, and purchase parts lists; plan and implement controls-related improvements; and provide technical support during new model launches and daily Assembly operations.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform Assembly Maintenance Technician duties including robotics, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting; make adjustments to parts and machinery to ensure proper production runs; and lead root cause investigations during equipment downtime.
  • Preventative Maintenance & Compliance: Establish and maintain PM procedures per manufacturer specifications, ensure scheduled maintenance is completed on time, and uphold quality standards in compliance with QS9000 requirements.
  • Leadership & Training: Provide direction during downtime situations, train new Maintenance Technicians on equipment and safety, identify training needs for Weld Technicians, and support the Assembly Technical Training program by leading classes and providing documentation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in project teams, coordinate with area maintenance planners to prioritize non-production tasks, interface with production supervision, manage vendor relationships, and provide feedback to supervisors for performance appraisals.
  • Documentation & Shop Floor Standards: Maintain accurate breakdown/activity reports and verification forms, ensure proper parts ordering/returns, attend QID meetings, practice strong housekeeping, uphold safety standards, and rotate shifts as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • Minimum 4 years of automated manufacturing technical experience required.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with Fanuc robots and Allen Bradley PLCs strongly preferred

Compensation

  • $39.95 - $44.12 per hour
