About the role

  • Product Designer Description - We're seeking a passionate, hands-on, and comprehensive thinking Product Designer to join our kick-ass team at HP.
  • This role requires strong collaboration across a complex ecosystem-balancing inputs from different teams while maintaining a clear, user-centered point of view.
  • Move fluidly from low-fidelity concepts to polished, production-ready UI.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive design solutions from problem definition through execution for key features and product areas, while contributing to broader platform experiences.
  • User-Centered Design:
  • Participate in research and use data to inform and validate design decisions.
  • Interaction & Visual Design:
  • Create high-quality interaction patterns and visual designs that align with brand and system standards.
  • AI-Powered Experience Design:
  • Actively design AI-driven experiences such as intelligent recommendations, automation, and contextual assistance.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate your design process-from ideation and research to prototyping and iteration-while maintaining a high bar for quality and critical thinking.
  • Work effectively across the GxD organization and multiple partner teams, including different business units and engineering groups.
  • Navigate varying perspectives, align stakeholders, and drive toward cohesive, platform-level solutions while advocating for the end user.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a UX/UI or Product Designer
  • Experience designing AI-powered product experiences (e.g., personalization, automation, conversational interfaces, or intelligent assistance)
  • Ability to critically assess where AI meaningfully improves the user experience
  • Experience designing for mobile and desktop platforms
  • Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools
  • Ability to simplify complex problems into clear, elegant solutions
  • You are comfortable owning features end-to-end while also contributing to broader platform experiences, and you know how to move between concept and execution with confidence.

Compensation

  • The pay range for this role is $105,050 to $161,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only).
