Responsibilities
- Build beautiful, performant, responsive web UIs using React and Next.js
- Translate designs into high-quality code-adding the nuance that turns "good" into "great"
- Collaborate with design and product to shape new features from concept to launch
- Implement and maintain our design system and component library
- Own integrations with internal and 3rd-party APIs
- A strong sense of product and design-your work should feel as good as it looks
- Experience building production apps from scratch
- Capsule is building the world's most intuitive AI-powered video editing tool, designed for modern teams.
- In less than a year, 100+ enterprise teams-including HubSpot, ServiceNow, and Instacart-use Capsule to create high-quality, on-brand video content at scale.
- We're hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to help us build the next generation of web-based video editing.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional frontend experience (React, Next.js, or similar frameworks)
- Solid knowledge of modern frontend architectures and web video technologies
- Proficiency with Figma and collaborating closely with design
Nice to have
- API development with Node.js
- WebAssembly and/or WebGL
- Familiarity with CI/CD and APM tools
- A diverse, mission-driven team with big ambitions and low ego
Compensation
- Salary between 100k-170k USD +equity
