About the role
- We're a passionate team striving to raise the standard of compassionate care for our patients, and we know that to do that, we must care for our people first.
- When our clinic opens in August, you'll start with a caseload, delivering the same whole-person, trauma-informed care you always have.
- As we bring on additional therapists, your caseload will step down and your leadership scope will step up.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, modeling a non-paternalistic and destigmatizing approach to patient care.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support patient recovery.
- Support patients in crisis intervention situations and coordinate higher levels of care when necessary.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy to individuals with substance use disorders.
- Strong knowledge of SUD diagnoses, medications, and treatment modalities.
- Ability to effectively interact with diverse staff, patients, and community members.
- Meets all North Carolina board requirements to provide clinical supervision for associate-level clinicians.
- Independent licensure in North Carolina.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible, can-do mentality, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Nice to have
- Certification in addiction counseling is a plus.
- Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery is a plus.
Compensation
- $80,000 - $95,000, plus monthly performance incentive of 5% of base salary, tied to clinic-level KPI attainment and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.
