About the role
- As a Quality Engineer, you'll be part of our Aerospace team working as an on-site employee in Fullerton, CA. The quality engineer will support with FAIR documentation and approval, internal and external audit preparations, MRB processes, customer relations, and support the quality inspection processes.
- - Maintaining the AS9100 Quality Management System.
Responsibilities
- Participating in design reviews, risk management, continuous improvement, approval of routers for new products, contract review, and PPAP activities.
- Working closely with all departments/functions to develop procedures/work instructions for new processes, identify improvement and training needs, and develop performance goals.
- Developing new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.
- Interface and assist with supply chain development and initiatives; evaluate supplier performance; maintain suppliers' qualifications up to date.
- Developing training documentation for specific processes in compliance with customer and quality requirements.
- The quality engineer will support with FAIR documentation and approval, internal and external audit preparations, MRB processes, customer relations, and support the quality inspection processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering in mechanical, industrial, Material Science or manufacturing engineering
- 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Basic Qualifications:

Nice to have
- 1+ years of experience in the quality field, aerospace industry preferred
- ASQ CQE certified (preferred)
- Working Knowledge of problem-solving tools
- Experience in blueprint reading
- PPAP and AS9102 experience
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing basics and AS9100 quality system requirements
