About the role

  • The Repossession and Remarketing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the repossession of vehicles and the subsequent remarketing and sale of the repossessed assets.
  • This includes managing multiple vendor relationships, adhering to regulatory guidelines, and ensuring the repo and remarketing agents are meeting and exceeding core KPI's.
  • Personally responsible for the day-to-day operations and overall performance.

Responsibilities

  • Personally responsible for the day-to-day operations and overall performance. Perform hiring, training, progressive discipline, and termination activities.
  • Develop strategic remarketing processes and relationships. Interactions may include operational performance reviews, issue resolution, informed of market conditions and customer needs response.
  • Perform hiring, training, progressive discipline, and termination activities.
  • Develop solutions: "sells", but also develops strategic solutions, creating true added value. Oversees daily pre-sale reviews and works closely to ensure vehicle attributes are updated to maximize vehicle value and update floors to reflect trending values.
  • Manage and protect collateral to ensure efficient and effective process is followed for every vehicle
  • Review inventory regularly to validate success from auction assignment to time sold
  • Ensure legal sale date has expired, vehicle has been transported & secured at auction, collaborate with other teams for holds to be removed accordingly, and coordinate with the Titles department to ensure titles are sent to and received by the auctions
  • Perform audits before and after sale to validate expenses are proper and approved where needed
  • Establish and maintain excellent service to internal and external partners to enhance recoveries and/or improve efficiencies

Requirements

  • Ability to review and interpret key performance indicators

  • Proficiency with Microsoft productivity tools (Excel, 365, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio)
  • Demonstrates knowledge of market and competition.
