About the role
- This leader will play a key role in implementing the regional growth strategy, expanding market share, ensuring technical excellence, and representing TYLin through industry engagement and thought leadership.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify new market opportunities.
- Lead pursuits, including teaming, proposals, interviews, pricing strategies, and go/no-go decisions.
- Partner with Practice, Sector, and Area Leaders to grow TYLin's presence in the Southern California market.
- Manage regional financial performance, including revenue, utilization, profitability, and forecasting.
- Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain top talent while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
- The Practice Manager will drive business growth, strengthen client relationships, oversee project delivery, and lead a high-performing team.
Requirements
- Approximately 20+ years of progressively responsible experience in consulting or the public sector, including leadership experience.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- professional registration preferred.

Compensation
- As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $216,000 - $260,000 annually for this position and local market.
- Develop and execute business development and marketing strategies to achieve annual sales goals.
