  • The Senior Underwriting Analyst is responsible for assisting Underwriters through all stages of the loan due diligence and underwriting process.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and guide analysts to advance their skills by providing on-the-floor support, sharing knowledge and best practices, and offering constructive feedback.
  • Proactively manage daily workload, ensuring timely communication and collaboration with peers, and distribute workload equitably across the team.
  • Effectively manage expectations with a proactive, solution-oriented attitude, identifying issues and providing suggestions.
  • The Senior Underwriting Analyst should be capable of managing their own deals with minimal oversight from the Underwriter.

Requirements

  • Develop a personal development plan for self-study training and participate in required programs.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in supporting other underwriting tasks as required by the process.
