About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse portfolio that includes both new-build communities and mature, stabilized assets, adapting strategies to meet each property's unique needs.
  • Drive leasing performance, occupancy, resident retention, and customer satisfaction across the portfolio.
  • Partner closely with maintenance and operations teams to ensure communities are well-maintained and operating at the highest standards.
  • AIR Communities owns and operates best-in-class apartment communities in major markets across the country.
  • This is a highly visible, field-based leadership role designed for professionals who thrive in the communities they support - not behind a desk.

Requirements

  • Experience overseeing a mix of lease-ups, new construction, and established communities.
  • At least 5 years of experience with sales, customer service, and asset management ideally in property management or similar industry (hospitality, retail, restaurants etc.)
  • 5+ years of demonstrated, consistent experience leading a large team of people in competitive sales and customer service environment with proven results.
  • Proven leader with ability to mentor and coach a diverse group of team members
  • Knowledge of various property management systems and tools (ie, OneSite, SmartRent, Salesforce etc.)
  • 25% Rent Discount at any AIR community (a rental application is required, and certain exclusions apply).

Compensation

  • 15 hours of paid time annually for community service.

  • Expected pay rate of $120,000 - $140,000 per year plus annual target bonus.
