About the role
- The Complexity Architect: You look at massive, disjointed, and fragmented data sets and instantly see the clean, structured, and automated product experiences that need to be built for both internal and external users.
- The Bilingual Translator: You speak both "fluent product" and "fluent data".
Responsibilities
- Bridge Backend Architecture & UX: Partner directly with data engineering teams to ensure our Snowflake schemas and semantic layers are perfectly optimized to power ultra-fast, elegant, and highly intuitive Power BI dashboard interfaces.
- Patient-Centric: You maintain an exceptionally high standard of quality because you never lose sight of the fact that behind every row of product data is a clinician and a patient depending on your execution.
- At VPL, we modernize pharmacy supply chains to support positive outcomes for patients.
Requirements
- You can talk data warehousing and database schemas with core engineers, then cleanly pivot to explain the strategic or operational impact of that data to non-technical business units.
- Product Management Foundations: 1-3 years of professional experience managing data products, analytics modules, or data-heavy features in an agile software environment.
Nice to have
- Strong technical fluency with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred) and business intelligence tools (Power BI required).
- Strong SQL skills are required to independently query and validate data features.
