About the role
- The work will be alongside customer employees acting as a consultant, supporting incident restoration, root cause analysis, and other system improvements.
- Performing health checks and audits on the mechanical aspects of the system
- Performing emergency corrective maintenance
Responsibilities
- As a Senior Field Service Engineer (SFSE) you will support Vanderlande customer sites from a mechanical and electromechanical perspective.
- This role will primarily support the launching of new customer sites, with occasional support at existing facilities.
- Support troubleshooting incidents on Vanderlande supplied equipment
- Able to work on own initiative
Requirements
- You will be required to travel most of the time on short-term assignments.
- Work to process and escalate as required
- Write up incident summaries and provide reports as and when required
- Experienced to degree level in a relevant competency
- Minimum 3 years' experience in material handling systems
- Bachelor's degree in mechatronics or mechanical engineering

- Strong communication skills, written & verbal
