About the role

Gathers information to design, develop, analyze, and maintain software systems that meet industry, customer and internal quality, safety, security and certification standards.
Partners with appropriate stakeholders to communicate system definition and participates in translation of system-level requirements into software requirements that meet customer, operational, and performance requirements and have clear traceability to design, code, and test artifacts.
supports integration and deployment of mitigation actions throughout the software lifecycle.

Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security clearance (Post-Start)
Candidates must be able to relocate if not already living in the local area.

Bachelor's Degree

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with stakeholders of different backgrounds and skill levels
Experience with software design and development tools such as DOORS and logic diagrams
Technical writing experience
Experience in handling documentation products for the use of developers and stakeholders, specifically regarding software requirements

The successful candidate for this Entry Level Software Systems Engineer position will join the B-2 Software team located at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City, OK and will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.
You will have the opportunity to review, analyze, and translate customer requirements and technical specifications for stakeholder use.
The Software Systems Engineer will collaborate with a diverse engineering team to design, develop, and deploy operational flight software used on the B-2.
Your expertise will be instrumental in developing, maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing system and subsystem components and functionalities within the B-2 software that fall under Boeing responsibility.
