About the role

  • Handles pick-ups and deliveries from lab, pharmacy, homecare, referring hospitals, clinics, physician offices and outpatient centers.
  • Evaluates and monitors weather conditions throughout shift to preplan for anticipated trips and delays throughout region.
  • Provides customer service in an efficient and effective manner to ensure customer satisfaction and quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provides transport and support for Nationwide Children's Hospital, the Department of Laboratory Medicine and their clients.
  • Drives NCH provided vehicles for courier routes and on-demand jobs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license as required by hospital policy.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy.

Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to use hospital provided cell phone and communication tracking system.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • 100 lbs or greater with assistance,

Compensation

  • $41k-$60k
