About the role
- The primary functions includes actively recruiting, assessing, screening, and interviewing potential and actual patients of all ages for eligibility to a government sponsored health coverage programs.
- The Patient Services Coordinator is responsible for assisting with insuring that all eligibility applications are complete, accurate, and processed in a timely manner and that pertinent coverage and other important data is entered correctly into EPIC.
- Assist seniors and disabled patients with enrollment into prescription coverage, specifically Prescription Advantage and Medicare Part D.

Requirements
- Bilingual fluency Spanish/English required.
- Previous Customer Service work or volunteer experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to promote a team environment with proven successful outcomes

- Exceptional judgment, initiative, and leadership skills.
Compensation
- Starts at $21.51 up to $32.26 based on experience

- The scope of a Patient Services Coordinator includes support of the health center's new patient primary care provider (PCP) assignment, registration, insurance enrollment processes and acts as patient advocates.
- Thoroughly and accurately assesses and screens patients to determine probable eligibility for a variety of health coverage programs.
- Mass Health Experience is preferred.
