  • Benefit Eligible Yes Screening Date 2026-05-18 Job Description Summary This position will have a range of teaching, service, and advising responsibilities in the Department of Entrepreneurship.
  • Successful candidates will have demonstrated expertise in entrepreneurship and finance, supported by relevant professional, academic, or applied experience, along with a strong commitment to teaching excellence.

Responsibilities

  • The primary responsibility is to teach undergraduates and masters students in areas including business model development, venture financing, venture marketing (and particularly new customer acquisition), and developing high performing entrepreneurial teams.
  • Position also expected to provide support for co-curricular events sponsored by the Department of Entrepreneurship related to venture financing and collaboration with related ecosystem organizations (e.g. venture capital, angel investor groups, etc.), advise and mentor students and student teams, and assist with student recruiting/retention.

Requirements

  • Required: Doctorate in entrepreneurship, business, or a closely related field by the date of appointment for or appointment as an Assistant Teaching Professor.
  • In addition, candidates should demonstrate at least five (5) years of relevant professional experience, which may include industry and/or teaching experience in entrepreneurship and finance.
  • Master's degree in entrepreneurship, business, or a closely related field by the date of appointment for appointment as an Assistant Lecturer.
  • Teaching experience, where applicable, should reflect subject-matter expertise in entrepreneurship and finance and a strong commitment to teaching excellence, including the ability to connect theory with practice.
