About the role

This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective market data across multiple asset classes and data sources.

Manage relationships with market data vendors, including onboarding, audits, and cost optimization
Support data governance initiatives, including documentation, controls, and quality metrics
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for data quality and usage
Partner with stakeholders at all levels of the firm to align market data strategy with business needs
Respond to issues in real time, applying sound judgment and problem-solving to deliver effective outcomes

5+ years of experience in market data, financial services, or a related analytical role
Strong understanding of financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX)
Experience with market data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv)
High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate relationships across all levels of the firm
Ability to think on your feet and solve problems in real time

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in market data management, hands on vendor relationship management, along with the ability to lead this function from day one.
