About the role

The Florida Panthers enter their 33 rd season in 2026-27 as one of the National Hockey League's premier franchises.
As back-to-back Stanley Cup champions in 2024 and 2025, the Cats have emerged victorious in 11 of their past 12 postseason series and have captured four Eastern Conference championships.
The Panthers are led by President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Bill Zito entering his seventh season, and President of Business Operations Michael White who begins his first full season.

Implement and update facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Develop programs to train all employees on Fire/Life Safety, Emergency, and OSHA Procedures
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules, emergency procedures, safety and Risk Management policies in compliance with all corporate and governmental regulations
Direct, supervise, and schedule all aspects of Operations, including Engineering; Building and Grounds; Ice Maintenance and Zambonis; Technical Services; Security; and Custodial Services

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs
Flexibility with work schedule - nights, weekends, and holidays required
Solid computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
must have a team-first mentality with an eagerness to learn
Must be able to maintain and abide by organizational confidentiality standards
Ability to work under fluid deadlines and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Serve as Staff Duty Officer (SDO) as required
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of building systems, equipment, maintenance procedures, tools, controls, and construction practices
Strong team player with good self-motivational skills
Sound organizational and time-management skills

Prior ice rink maintenance experience and sports arena/facility management experience strongly preferred

Assist in the preparation of the Annual Operating Budget and recommend capital budgets for 1-year and 5-year long-range repairs and improvements to the facility
