About the role
- Participates in clinical, educational, leadership, consultant and research activities of service area.
- Provides leadership in the development and implementation of policies and procedures and standards of practice.
- The Vascular Clinical Nurse Specialist provides direct/indirect specialized, comprehensive care, emphasizing health promotion, disease prevention and collaborative management strategies.
Responsibilities

- Develops and evaluates standards of practice in specialty area based on evidence and best practice.
- Develops evidence-based clinical interventions and systems to achieve defined patient and system outcomes.
Requirements
- AHA BLS-HCP required
- Master's degree in nursing required.
- Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required
Nice to have
- Two years of nursing experience in area of Vascular is preferred.
- Current nursing licensure and specialty certification.
- Must be registered as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the State of Virginia or can obtain it within 6 months of hire.
- Additional certification(s) specific to a business unit may be required (i.e. OB/GYN requires OB certifications and EFM preferred.

- Other: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
Compensation
- $89,232.00 - $142,771.20 Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience.
- The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
