About the role

  • We are seeking a Java Developer with experience in mid-to-front-end stack development.
  • The position requires hands-on experience in writing unit and component tests, working with multithreaded applications, and refactoring complex software.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Java-based applications, with a focus on multithreading.

Requirements

  • A B.S. in Computer Science, Software/Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM discipline is required.
  • Candidates must have proven Java development experience, including multithreading.

Nice to have

  • Advanced Java multithreading skills.
  • Experience with databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with inter-process messaging middleware like gRPC or Artemis.
  • Knowledge of UI frameworks, including JavaFX or Swing.
  • Understanding of reactive programming (RxJava, Kotlin Coroutines, Flow).
  • Experience with performance-tuning tools (JVisualVM, JConsole, JProfiler).
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
