About the role
- Pay starting at $36.90, Pay will Commensurate with Experience
- Monday - Friday 8:00-4:30 with rotating weekends on call.
- Provides education, experiences, and care coordination services for pediatric and young adult patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Maintains flexibility working in the inpatient, clinic, and office settings.
- Collaborates with service providers to identify patients in need of care coordination.
- Collaborates with the diabetes team and networks with internal and external stakeholders, including staff from schools and residential programs.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Ohio required.
Skills
- Effective customer service and communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
- Competency providing education in individual and group settings.
- Provision of culturally competent and equitable care.
- 3 years of experience as an RN required
- pediatric experience and/or diabetes education preferred
- Physical Requirements:
- FREQUENTLY: Depth perception, Hand use: grasping, gripping, turning, Loud Noises, Standing, Walking
- 3 years of experience as an RN required; pediatric experience and/or diabetes education preferred
Compensation
- $11k-$20k

- Participates in development of educational materials and updates for patients and families.
- Provides individual and classroom style education, targeting needs of patients and other entities, such as school or group home staff.
