About the role

  • Pay starting at $36.90, Pay will Commensurate with Experience
  • Monday - Friday 8:00-4:30 with rotating weekends on call.
  • Provides education, experiences, and care coordination services for pediatric and young adult patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains flexibility working in the inpatient, clinic, and office settings.
  • Collaborates with service providers to identify patients in need of care coordination.
  • Collaborates with the diabetes team and networks with internal and external stakeholders, including staff from schools and residential programs.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Ohio required.

Skills

  • Effective customer service and communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
  • Competency providing education in individual and group settings.
  • Provision of culturally competent and equitable care.
  • 3 years of experience as an RN required
  • pediatric experience and/or diabetes education preferred
  • Physical Requirements:
  • FREQUENTLY: Depth perception, Hand use: grasping, gripping, turning, Loud Noises, Standing, Walking
  • 3 years of experience as an RN required; pediatric experience and/or diabetes education preferred

Compensation

  • $11k-$20k
