About the role

  • DCI is hiring a full-time Office Administrator.
  • This position is responsible for providing a first impression of the school to students, families and the community by responding to phone calls and general information requests.

  • Teachers and staff have the appropriate technology and support to do their work.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up and carry orders and deliveries short distances;
  • Experience in a school environment;
  • Experience using Google suite;
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Comfortable in a Mac environment;
  • Able to draft and create documents and spreadsheets.
  • Available working hours Mondays through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm,

Nice to have

  • Bilingual in Spanish & English (preferred)
  • Experience in accounts receivables and billing preferred.

Skills

  • Answer telephones, and respond to emails.
  • Assist with lunch and meal duties as assigned.
  • Interact with parents and students in a professional and inviting manner.
  • Professional communication with parents, students, and staff in Spanish and English, including written and verbal translation
  • Be proactive about helping the school succeed in daily operations.
  • Assist students and staff as necessary.
  • Report Attendance.
  • Input data.
  • Assist with ACE after school duties as assigned.
  • Embrace French, Spanish, and Chinese cultures by leading and participating in cultural activities for faculty and students.
  • Commitment to environmentally sustainable business practices.
  • Other duties as assigned

Compensation

  • $22k-$28k
