Responsibilities

  • Own server reliability, availability, performance, and security by implementing operational standards, maintenance plans, and best practices.
  • Perform routine and advanced server maintenance, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning to ensure stable and secure operations.
  • Monitor system performance and capacity to identify risks, improve efficiency, and support future infrastructure planning.
  • Secondary duties include support and collaborate on Fortinet-based network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and technical documentation.
  • Lead infrastructure initiatives and technical projects from planning and design through implementation, testing, and transition to support.
  • Develop, recommend, and uphold IT policies, standards, and procedures that strengthen operational consistency, security, and compliance.
  • Work closely with IT team members, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver projects, resolve issues, and meet operational objectives.
  • The following certifications or equivalent experience would be considered strong assets: Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104, or AZ-305 ITIL certification Microsoft certifications such as MCSA or MCSE Your Role As a System Administrator - Server Infrastructure, you will lead the administration, optimization, and protection of our Microsoft Windows Server environments (2016-2025).
  • This role is responsible for ensuring high availability, strong security, reliable backup and recovery, and the overall stability and performance of critical infrastructure that supports day-to-day business operations.
