Responsibilities
- Support development and commercialization of next-generation compressor technologies and residential HVAC products.
- Work directly with laboratory technicians to evaluate testing results, troubleshoot issues, and support product validation activities.
- Support reliability testing efforts and ensure products meet performance, durability, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, supplier quality, procurement, marketing, program management, and engineering teams to drive project execution.
- Drive technical problem-solving efforts while balancing multiple priorities and competing business needs.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and Lean product development practices.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related engineering discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Experience in HVAC, refrigeration, compressors, rotating equipment, appliances, or related industries.
- Product engineering or new product development experience.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, testing, reliability, or field performance investigations.
- Knowledge of residential HVAC systems and compressor technologies.
Compensation
- Ability to travel approximately 2-3 weeks per year.

- The Project Engineer will support the development, launch, and sustainment of advanced residential HVAC compressor technologies including variable-speed scroll and swing rotary compressor platforms.
- This role combines product engineering, customer support, testing, and cross-functional project leadership. The engineer will work closely with customers, manufacturing, suppliers, reliability teams, and product development teams to advance new technologies from concept through production while supporting existing products in the field.
