About the role

  • This job assumes responsibility for maintaining high patient care standards in all aspects of a hospital and/or clinic setting.
  • Coordinates and supervises the schedules and activities of the Therapists and EKG Technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association

Requirements

  • Other related duties as required.
  • 2 years' experience as technician or therapist in general adult care to adequately and effectively counsel subordinates.
  • (Neonatal and pediatric experience may be required per certain facilities.)
  • Required - Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
  • Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
  • Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
