  • As the Repair the World Service Coordinator, you'll wake up each day genuinely excited and enthusiastic about creating an inviting place where students serve, learn, and strengthen the community.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and lead Jewish service programs that engage young adults in meaningful direct service opportunities addressing pressing local needs such as food insecurity and providing services to people who are unhoused
  • Build strategic partnerships with local direct service providers and Jewish organizations to create impactful service experiences
  • Recruit, train, and support Service Ambassadors who will facilitate peer-led service programs
  • Develop strategies to build relationships with 180+ students currently not engaged in Jewish life, using service as an entry point
  • Collaborate with OC Hillel colleagues on program recruitment and integration with broader campus engagement strategies
  • Professional development, mentoring, and skill-building opportunities provided through Hillel
  • You will be the first Repair the World Service Coordinator at OC Hillel, building from the ground up and helping shape what Jewish service looks like in this community.
  • You will be hired and supervised by OC Hillel while receiving training, support, and resources from Repair the World.
  • This dual support system ensures you have both local context and national expertise to succeed.
  • As the Repair the World Service Coordinator, you will strengthen Hillel's ability to meet the needs of Jewish students and create vibrant Jewish life on campus through the lens of service and social action.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary in the non-profit marketplace.
  • The salary range for this role is $50,000 - $60,000.
